Shortcut to the Windows' System window

logo_windows.gif If you need to go to your System window but you want to minimize the number of clicks, here's a great way of doing it instead of going to Start button, Control panel, and then selecting "System".

Hold down Control, and push the Pause|Break key.

That key combination will allow you to access the System window immediately without all the fuss of point and click type interfacing. Don't you love keyboard shortcuts?

If you don't use keyboard shortcuts you can ALSO right-click on the "My Computer" and then choose "Manage" from the context menu that pops up.

If "My Computer" isn't on your desktop you can also right click the menu item in the Windows XP start menu.
