Snitter

snitter.jpg Snitter is actually a shortened name for Snook’s Twitter. The Twitter microblogging social phenomenon has been taking the Internet by storm lately and as usual, there are many different types of features that it comes with.
What’s interesting is that Snitter itself can run on Mac or Windows due to the fact that it’s based on the Adobe AIR interface. This allows for easy to code both operating systems. From a overall look, it’s actually a pretty clean interface. The design isn’t as nice looking as Twitterific, but it does come with a lot of features that are definitely interesting. It allows for filtering of tweets according to their category (direct, reply, archive, public) and actually can track your followers. Pretty neat to keep everything under your thumb like that.
