I'm looking for something for creating web graphics and web photos. Photoshop is just too expensive for me. PaintShop Pro is more affordable, but I'm wondering if you are aware of any free/opensource programs that are good. I think my favorite graphics program of all-time was the late Aldus Freehand. I especially liked being able to convert object to paths which could then be manipulated by dragging handles. Primarily though, I just need something that allows photo manipulation and creation of shapes and text with elements separated as either layers or sprites. Any recommendations? Hi,
