winaudit.gif WinAudit is this neat free application for Windows that allows you to not only review your system configurations, but it also tells you pretty much everything you could ever want to know about your computer. Things such as service tags, network ports, process mapping, connection speeds, firewall settings, and your usual stuff that comes form system information. Everything can be exported into easily read formats. It even supports Vista. Crazy isn’t it.
What’s also nice about this is that it’s contained on one single file with no configuration or registry edits. This means that you can launch WinAudit from portable mediums such as USB key drives. Pretty sweet stuff. It actually reminds me some of Belarc Advisor. Except most programs these days don’t end up being only three-fourths of a megabyte.
