Screenlets

Screenlets is alternative to small desktop applications for a Compiz based linux. Think of Apple’s Dashboard, and you’ll understand exactly what this is and what it does. The screenlets themselves are written in Python, and a whole lot of them currently look very similar to the widgets featured on Dashboard.
