TeraCopy copies files at the maximum speed by using dynamic buffers to reduce seek time. If the copy is between two hard drives, then it performs asynchronous copying. While I personally haven’t tested or benchmarked this tool, it couldn’t be worse than using your average Windows copy. That in essence would chug with that awesome Windows time that always said: 3 minutes… but you could never trust it like a cheating lover. Teracopy’s feature set in itself has already have the plain ol’ copy beat. Freeware for home users that are still using Windows.
