The icache is a very cool device. There’s no pricepoint yet, and there’s something to be said about the design, but the idea is there. Basically what it does is it stores all of your credit card numbers in one universal device to get rid of the bloat. When you need a credit card, you select one you need, you identify yourself via biometrics and it pulls the data out temporarily for use for a ten minute interval.
What a great thing to replace all of those cards in your wallet. Unfortunately, it’s a bit thicker than I would want in my wallet. If this device could be created to be credit card thin, then there’s hope yet to get rid of wallet bloat. Here’s to hoping for version 2.
