Flickr takes away pro upload limit and ups regular user limits

Flickr has made their service even better. Pro accounts now have no upload limit unlike their old 2G limit. Regular users now have a 100MB limit versus their old 20MB limit a month.
Sweet. Thank you Flickr.

  • It still not quite as good as I’d like it, as it allows only a couple of galleries for cheapskates like me.

  • Sheesh. 100M per month? How many photos are you taking? And if you can afford to shoot such large resolution photos, then you should be able to afford $25/yr. That comes up as less than a McDonald’s Happy Meal a month.
Personally, I paid the dues just so I knew I had all of my pictures backed up in a safe spot. Worthwhile to me.
