Booting XP from your USB key

One of the usual missing components to Windows XP is booting from disk. Mainly because most machines these days don’t come with a floppy drive. The nice thing is that you can technically boot Windows XP off of a USB key drive. Unfortunately, there are some hardware constraints such as a computer being made in the last several years (that is able to boot from USB), a keydrive that is more than 256M but less than 2G and has FAT16 format. If you meet all of these requirements, read on at TechRepublic on how to create your very own Windows XP USB boot device.
