		<description>Yeah, yeah, yeah.  I&#039;ve been running local DNS server (full blown) for years now to &quot;help&quot; with dns queries... mainly b/c the DNS server on those stupid DSL modems really stink.
The biggest benefit isn&#039;t really the speed... it&#039;s that you can then tie DNS into your DHCP server and access all your local machines by a real name rather than some dotted-number.
