Kodak spams and pays

Kodak spammed over 2 million customers with promotionals without an opt-out, and thus breaking the CAN-SPAM Act. They admitted to the wrongdoing and is paying a fine of $26k for doing so.
The real amusing thing is that the CAN-SPAM Act in this sense hasn’t curbed the number one country of spam (U.S.) since real spammers don’t pay attention to the CAN-SPAM Act, but it definitely puts a stop to bad marketing divisions of corporations.
We suppose it’s a start.
