Create bootable movies with eMoviX

Hurray for another useful thing by via linux. This time, Extremetech has an in-depth tutorial on how to use eMovix to create movies that are bootable from the get-go and can play those movie files. This will basically create a mini-distribution on CD/DVD and launch Mplayer to play the movie files. It’s even been optimized for machines that have a minimum of 128M of ram. Very cool stuff if you’re looking to create your own media files without wondering if someone has a player that’s able to play the CD/DVDs.
The full installation of eMovix on the medium is about a 10M overhead. Beats any installation of Windows software for sure.
