VPN (Virtual Private Network) are basically what people use these days to connect into their workplace from home. You login through a VPN which makes your work laptop seem like it's actually in the work network, even though it's sitting on your unmade bed.

The worst part about setting up a Windows VPN is all the hoops you have to jump through to get it to work. Well, here's a step-by-step along with screenshots.
