iTunes still at 99 cents

Thank you Steve Jobs. After a grueling battle between the recording industry and Apple, Jobs came out the winner. What’s amusing about this is that the profits from the iTunes Music Store really doesn’t show in Apple’s pocket. Instead, it goes to the recording industry and Apple is left with trying to lure people into buying the hardware. Wait, so you mean the recording industry wanted to fill their pockets with even more before? Dang straight.
Fortunately, Jobs made them give up their lofty goals of lining their caviar dishes with diamonds this year. With keeping the flat pricing, this should solidify Apple’s dominance on the digital music industry with their ever-popular iPods.
