Twenty cents a minute for our boys to call home

There’s word that it costs our boys twenty cents a minute to call home from Iraq. Why? AT&T has exclusive rights to buildout payphones in Iraq. Alongside the fact that they are adding a high surcharge to other carrier numbers leads to a lot of nasty speculation.
I would like to add that not all of the blame lies with AT&T. Having had an international phone card before, there are outrageous phone surcharges due to the calls going through COs that are not owned by the carriers. Those exchanges will cost a fortune before the call is routed into the States. However, this is definitely bad PR for a business that is dropping billions for a BellSouth acquisition.

I think you forgot to add the word ‘girls’ in your first sentence. Other than that I agree with the paragraph.
