Time Warner in the Piedmont: Out of Sync

I’ve let it go for the last two weeks, but obviously they don’t have their act together over at that local branch of cable corporation. Either that or they don’t watch their own television stations at all. What am I talking about?
I’ve noticed both in Greensboro and in Winston-Salem, that if you watch the television advertisements, they’re out of synch. Not timing, but commercials will suddenly start over another commercial, or cut off early. Usually they’re with the localized “media services” commercials but they also happen with the national. At first I thought it was a satellite feed issue, but at this rate I think it’s something else and they haven’t bothered to fix.
What bugs me most about this? If you work for TIme Warner, wouldn’t you have seen this already? Don’t complain if you lose some advertising contracts because the advertisers pay for a minute worth of television time and only get fifty seconds.
Just a note out to TIme Warner to get this fixed since it’s REALLY not a good selling point. Anyone else happen to have noticed this phenomenon?

It’s also happening with Comcast here in Chicago.

  • I wonder what the advertisers think about it. I wouldn’t stand for it if I knew I was getting cut off and there is a sync problem.
As a viewer, it’s frackin annoying. I’m forced to watch half of their stupid Cialis commercial and half of their Levitra commercial. Just play one stupid commercial all the way through.
