ISPConfig

ISPConfig is an open source hosting control panel for Linux. ISPConfig is licensed under BSD license. What does this mean? It means that you can control domains, send emails, set up a website under a domain all in the matter of minutes via some point and click. Think Microsoft, but for linux and without the crashes. And you can manage all this and more:

  • Httpd (virtual hosts, domain and IP based)
  • FTP
  • Bind (A, CNAME, MX and SPF Records)
  • POP3 Auto-Responder
  • MySQL client-databases
  • Webalizer statistics
  • Harddisk quota
  • Mail-Quota
  • Traffic limits
  • IP-addresses
  • SSL
  • SSI
  • Shell-access
  • Mailscanner (Antivirus)
  • Firewall

Very nice. Take a look and be awed at the usefulness along with the pretty web-based GUI.

  • There is a typo in the Link… index not idnex. Good site. How’s it compare to Webmin?

  • Sort of different from Webadmin. This is actual ISP web configuration and administration while Webmin is an overall web interface for console basd utilities. For administration sake, this is better. For overall, I’d still use webadmin.
