Charged for asking for quiet in the movies

Only in the United States. A movie-goer at Brokeback Mountain was charged with assault after another woman answered a mobile call and decided that it was time to carry on a conversation right there in the theater. Strangely enough, the charged was being polite and the plaintiff exploded. Two officers asked the plaintiff to back down from her complaint saying that she would also be charged with using expletives and disorderly conduct.
Now both are having their day in court. While I would expect to see crazy things like this happen in Texas, it figures that we have some total doofs that don’t understand manners and that mobiles should be turned on vibrate or off during a movie. If you have something totally urgent, remove yourself from the theater!
It just figures.
