Motorola’s ROKR E1 has had less than stellar success ever since the launch. While they would never admit it, one would speculate that it had something to do with the E398 body, or the 100 song iTunes cap. The fact that the E398 was just plain ugly really probably didn’t hit anyone.
Well, now they’re saying, “… early next year they’ll be dropping a slider-style ROKR with better industrial design and a one megapixel camera, a regular 3.5mm headphone jack, and the ability to store up to 1000 songs …”.
Call me a cynic, but unless they come out with a revolutionary body design and some better features, Zander’s dreams of having an “all-in-one” mobile device might be pushed out a bit.
