Switchfoot shows fans ways around their record publisher’s copy protection policy

The band Switchfoot, posted on their forums on how their fans can bypass the record companies’ new policy on implementing copy protection on all CDs. Amusingly enough, they recommend CDEX, an open-source mp3 ripper that has been around for ages.
Thanks to artists such as Switchfoot, that understand the age of iPods and mp3 players, fans around the world continue to buy their music and more numbers are growing in the dislike of record company copy protection policies everyday.
