No invitation to free blogger screening of Serenity

Instapundit has a very cool “free screening” for bloggers of the movie Serenity, and it is located at many major cities. The only condition is that the bloggers have to write about the movie after they see it.
I was going to see this anyways along with my better half, both being science fiction fans, but when I read the list of cities listed….

THE TRIAD WASN’T INVITED.

Not even Palladium? Come on. This stinks. And I was so hoping that at least one of the three cities would have a showing. Greensboro most of all, being the center of the blogosphere and all. Frackin’ A.

  • This really is a travesty. I can’t wait for that movie. Can’t wait. (Of course I’m wondering if its going to open here the same day as the Neil Gaiman movie…)

  • Don’t know. All I know is that the screening dates are all next Tuesday/Wednesday. That means the movie opens next week.
Science fiction cult classic, but definitely one of those brilliant ones that Sci-Fi picked up and is now showing in their very strong Friday night line-up.

  • Serenity

Saw Serenity finally. Unlike Dave, I loved it as well as my blonde goddess. We both thought that this was one of the better movies this year, after seeing crappy movie after crappy movie. Science fiction definitely got a good…
