IBM Reports that Linux TCO is lower

IBM, one of the big linux backers, has released two sponsored reports that show Linux to be less pricey when compared to Windows and Unix. This includes operations and purchasing cost.
In all fairness to Microsoft, this is no better than the reports that are sponsored by Microsoft that say Windows is cheaper. Tell you what. Why don’t you download a copy of linux and see which one is more stable to use? There are plenty out there to choose from and I promise those distros won’t bite.
