Wanna get into professional podcasting? Show me the money.

Apparently with podcasting going gold, a couple people are looking to make a buck off those that want to be the elite podcasters. Podcastgear.com sells some interesting devices. Be forewarned that I personally know nothing about those devices and am not willing to drop $1000+ to find out if they are any good. Lenslinger? Any ideas?
