GOP backs Tom Delay

In the CNN article, GOP party members voted to appoint a select few to determine if an indicted GOP leader should step down from the leadership role. This comes after three of Delay’s political colleagues were indicted for state political corruption.

Amusing as this sounds, this is the world we now have to deal with. I’m surprised that civilian Republicans aren’t raising hell about this for misrepresenting them. In all cases and scenarios, we’re telling the world that it is okay to have leadership that is corrupt because somehow or another, being the United States makes it okay to be unethical.
Scary. My sympathy for those Republicans that are represented by these immoral acts. To the GOP Party, I have one comment: “Having money doesn’t make unethical standards ethical.”
